Cape’s Holiday Festival of Lights set for Saturday
The Holiday Festival of Lights will be held from 4-10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, along Cape Coral Parkway between Southeast 15th Ave (Wendy’s) and Candia Street (Burger King).
Title sponsored by CenturyLink, the Holiday Festival of Lights is the official start of Cape Coral’s Christmas season.
Promoted as the largest Holiday celebration between Tampa and Miami, the street fair draws 20,000 to the South Cape. Holiday fun includes the official tree lighting and Santa’s arrival, free Kidz Street play area, Tiny Tots Train ride, 25 ton Snowdrift Slide and more than 20 holiday performances on four stages.
There will be three food courts of festival foods, beer and soda and more than 40 businesses and organizations will take part with lots of giveaways and special offers.
