Sheriff’s Office seeks public’s help finding Cape man

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in locating an 80-year-old Cape Coral resident.

James Patterson was last seen at 10 a.m., today, Oct. 31, when he left Hector A. Caferata Elementary School. He was seen leaving the school in his 2011 gray Buick Regal four-door sedan with Florida license plate 012RTV. He was headed towards Pine Island Road on Santa Barbara Boulevard.

Patterson is 5-feet, 8-inches tall and approximately 155 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a white and aqua-striped dress shirt with jeans.

He was reported missing by his wife and she is very concerned for his well-being as James suffers from early signs of dementia.
