Remodeling work at Cape Coral Tax Collector office continues
The Cape Coral Tax Collector office reminds customers that its office is under reconstruction. The project is scheduled to be completed by Sept. 30, 2017.
While visiting the Cape Coral office customers may experience longer wait times as the workforce has been reduced to accommodate space for construction. Nearby service offices in North Fort Myers, South Fort Myers and downtown Fort Myers are all fully staffed and ready to service those customers choosing an alternate location.
“By rearranging our facilities to create a fully combined service office, we will improve our overall service to you.” says Tax Collector, Larry Hart.
Construction work has been designed and scheduled to have the least impact to our citizens. The remodeling activity will be performed quickly and in phases to maintain our public service functions. Reconstruction was scheduled during the summer months since it is considered slow season to further minimize any inconvenience to the public.
Customer are encouraged to visit www.leetc.com for convenient alternate office locations. The Cape office is at 1039 S.E. 9th Ave. in the Government Building.
