Fuccillo Kia of Cape Coral celebrated the conclusion of its April month-long promotion with a miniature golf tournament Tuesday at Mike Greenwell’s Bat-A-Ball & Family Fun Park to give away a grand prize valued at nearly $200,000.

More than 100 customers played one, 9-hole miniature golf round on the course. Individuals who earned the top 50 lowest scores at the end of the round, including tie scores, qualified to advance to a final 18-hole miniature golf round for a chance to win the grand prize. To be eligible for the tournament participants had to have purchased or leased a new Kia at Fuccillo Kia of Cape Coral between April 1 May 2.

Jeffery Divett, of Cape Coral, Florida, was named the grand prize winner and won a house in Cape Coral, a new 2016 Kia Forte and a trip for two around the world. The 40-night trip will depart Florida, Nov. 1, making stops in eight cities across the world before returning Dec. 12. The grand prize winner will enjoy a five-night stay in Lisbon, Portugal; Madrid, Spain; Zurich, Switzerland; Vienna, Austria; Bangkok, Thailand; Shanghai, China; Honolulu, Hawaii; and San Francisco, California.

Divett elected to collect a cash buyout in exchange for the grand prize package, officials said.

The promotion marked the second consecutive year that Fuccillo has invited customers to participate in a miniature golf tournament. In 2015, five local participants took home individual prizes as a result of the tournament’s outcome.

Fuccillo Kia of Cape Coral is at 404 NE Pine Island Rd.
