Monthly plant sale planned in Fragrance Garden at Lee County’s Lakes Regional Park
The Lakes Park Fragrance Garden will host a plant sale from 9 a.m. to noon the last Wednesday of each month through April, at Lakes Regional Park, 7330 Gladiolus Drive, Fort Myers.
Make the trip through the gardens and take advantage of a large selection of plants for sale that are grown in the Lakes Park Fragrance Garden. Most of the plants have been propagated using cuttings or seeds from specimens from the Lakes Park Fragrance Garden so visitors have the opportunity to see the mature plant in its natural setting. The selection of plants includes small succulents, small trees, native plants, herbs, annuals, bromeliads, rose bushes, amaryllis and spider lily bulbs and more. Master Gardeners will be available to answer any questions.
There is a $1 per hour per vehicle parking fee, with a maximum of $5 for the entire day.
Lakes Regional Park features 158 acres of freshwater quarry lake on the 279-acres. The Fragrance Garden was introduced in 1991 and has grown from a small area of fragrant herbs, flowers and other plants to include a wide variety of trees, shrubs and ground cover.
