PCC Tile celebrates 30 years in business

Jorge and Helene Glocer came to Cape Coral 30 years ago to make a better life for themselves.
With their company PCC Tile celebrating 30 years in business, they have certainly succeeded by offering top-quality products, not just in Cape Coral, but for much of Lee County.
PCC Tile, at 916 SE 15th Ave., specializes in high-end ceramic, stone, porcelain, marble and glass products, as well as unique products made by some of the best companies in the world.
They also have wood and carpet products and offer installation, though much of their business comes from other contractors, interior decorators and vendors.
Glocer had owned his own title business in New York and New Jersey, but when he learned about the quality of life in Cape Coral, he and his wife decided to stake his future here in 1985.
PCC quickly established itself as the go-to place for builders to get tile products for the bathroom, kitchen and even for outdoor walkways and the lanai.
When the recession hit, PCC was able to survive the way most builders did, through remodeling and all the ways it did to build its good reputation.
“We were lucky we had loyal customers and good employees. Our reputation kept us afloat during all the recessions,” Glocer said. “Many of our employees have been here for 15 years.”
PCC has an extensive collection of pool and outdoor tile in many colors and designs, mudcaps, slip resistant ceramic and porcelain tile for pool decks and patios.
For the bath PCC has a wide array of tile. It also carries fixtures such as soap dishes, towel bar posts and other items in sets or in pieces.
Glocer explained the secret to success the same way most successful businesses do – through integrity.
“Quality and value are important. We bring in the best quality designs from all over. We always help the customer in choosing the best products,” Glocer said. “But most important, honesty.”
PCC Tile also has a location on 16165 S. Tamiami Trail in Fort Myers.
PCC Tile is open Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 772-5815.
