Red Fish Challenge Saturday
The Low Key Tiki will hold its 5th annual Red Fish Challenge this Saturday, Sept. 12, with cash prizes going to the first, second and third place winners. The Captain’s Meeting will be held Friday, Sept. 11, at Low Key Tiki at 7 p.m.
“Each year Low Key Tiki’s Red Fish Challenge gets better and better,” organizer Scott Adams said. “Many have registered, taking advantage of the discount. Early registration ended on Sept. 5. High Tide is booked for entertainment after the weigh-in and the Wing Nuts will be cooking up some chicken wings.”
This year’s sponsors are:Monroe Canal Marina, E.T Lawn Care, Jensen’s Marine, Mayday Mobile Welding, Beach Fender Mender, Castaway Reality, Miller Beer (JJ Taylor), Parrot Magazine, Wing Nuts (for cooking), Harris Dermatology (donations for captains bags).
“So far we have 30 anglers registered,” Adams said. “So help us spread the word. One hunded percent of the entry fee goes to the prize money, thanks to all our sponsors.”
Raffles will also be a part of the tournament festivities.
