Sheriff’s Office looking for missing Cape man
At 9:08 a.m. today, Sept. 13, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a call about missing man. The incident was reported from the man’s residence at 11954 Prince Charles Court, Cape Coral. Deputies responded to the residence.
It has been learned 79-year-old Gregory (Greg) Walter Banister left his residence Thursday, Sept. 12. He never returned to the residence.According the the LCSO, he left in a beige 2013 Toyota Sienna Van with handicapped tag 036357 and had packed a small suitcase with clothing. The van is equipped with a lift for his motorized scooter, which he does not have with him.
Banister is white male; 5 feet, 9 inches tall; 240 pounds; with blue eyes and gray hair.
