Car crashes through door at bank

1 min read

At about 10:30 a.m. Friday, a vehicle crashed through the front glass doors of a Wells Fargo Bank, at 2504 Santa Barbara Blvd. Police officials reported that that driver was attempting to park in a handicap spot when her flip-flop apparently got caught on the gas pedal or the brake pedal. The woman’s mother was a passenger in the vehicle at the time. No injuries were reported by the women. Employees at the bank declined to comment on the incident Friday, citing company policy.
