Cape man accused of showing obscene material to minor

A Cape Coral man is accused of watching online pornography in the presence of a minor.
David Alan Huffman, 33, of the 1100 block of Hancock Creek Boulevard South, was arrested and charged Thursday with two counts of obscene material distribute to minor, according to jail records.
As of Friday, he had been released from the Lee County Jail on $3,000 bond.
On Wednesday, a woman reported to police that Huffman had showed her 7-year-old videos of sexual acts between “boys” and “girls.” The child told the woman what happened, according to an arrest report.
During an interview with authorities Thursday, the child allegedly stated that Huffman showed movies where “boys” and “girls” touched their private areas and sexual acts occurred.
The child reported seeing the movies on a computer from a Web site on at least five or more occasions, the report states.
Authorities made contact with Huffman.
Huffman told police that on two occasions the child caught him viewing pornographic materials, according to the report. He did not exit the Web sites that he was watching or pause the videos.
On the second occasion, the child reportedly asked a question about the video. Huffman reportedly responded that the child was too young to be watching it.
Police took Huffman into custody and transported him to the jail.
He has a court appearance scheduled for July 15.
