Cape massage parlor employee facing prostitution charge
An employee of a massage parlor in Cape Coral is accused of soliciting sexual acts for money.
Yungui Chang, 54, was arrested and charged Tuesday with one count of procure for prostitute offer agree to secure for lewd act. As of Wednesday, she remained at the Lee County Jail on $500 bond.
Chang could not be reached for comment on the allegations against her.
According to officials, the Cape Coral Police Department had received numerous complaints from residents that prostitution was occurring at the Sunshine Asian Massage, at 1340 Cape Coral Parkway E. On Tuesday, detectives with the CCPD conducted an undercover operation at the establishment.
During the course of a massage, Chang reportedly solicited a detective for sexual favors in exchange for money. Police entered the business and placed her under arrest for solicitation for prostitution.
Chang was transported to the county jail.
She has a court appearance scheduled for June 18.
The owner of Sunshine Asian Massage did not return a message seeking comment Wednesday.
