The Cape Coral Kiwanis will host their annual Easter “Eggstravaganza” Festival on Saturday, March 23.

Registration for the event will begin at 9 a.m. with the hunt beginning at 10 a.m.

The Egg Hunt will be open to children from toddlers to 10 years old and prizes will include candy, cash, fishing poles, Easter baskets, and toys.

This year 1000 eggs will be spread about for each age group starting with ages 0-3, followed by the 4-6 year olds and finally children ages 7-10.

The Cape Coral Kiwanis Hall is at 360 Santa Barbara Blvd.

In addition to the Easter egg hunt there will be games, a meet and greet with our local fire fighters, police officers and SWAT Team.

And what would Easter be without the Easter Bunny? He will also make a special appearance to greet all the children.

The event is free to the public.
