Sport camps and clinics will be held during ever school break, as well as throughout the summer.
The new business opened in February after two present-day baseball players turned their dream into a reality. John Bradford is the director.
The facility has 5,000 square feet of brand new Bermuda padded astro turf. Athletes have the opportunity to use an indoor T-ball stadium, two full-size batting cages, three tee stations, as well as youth soccer, lacrosse and flag football fields.
The sports academy offers almost 4,000 square feet for training, which includes VertiMax equipment. The training system has the ability to develop power and speed for hundreds of sport specific movements in an easy and effective way.
The indoor facility also offers a viewing parents lounge, which includes free WiFi, to provide parents with the opportunity to do their work if need be while watching their children perform.
Private sport lessons and personal training is available with their four professional instructors, as well as two college instructors. Those professional instructors include former Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers baseball player Chip Duncan, who is a right hand pitching instructor; former Minnesota Twins baseball player Steve Singleton, who is a middle infield instructor; former Kansa City Royals baseball player Carlos Perea, who is also a middle infield trainer and former Florida Marlins, Pittsburg Pirates and Chicago White Sox baseball player Tony Blasucci, who is a left handed pitching instructor.
The professional instructors also have the ability to break down any sport frame by frame through MotionPro video analysis to help the athlete improve their game.
Adovocare, a nutritional product, is also offered at Between the Lines Sports Academy, due to their motto, building champions through excellence, strength, body and nutrition.
Between the Lines Sports Academy is open from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday through Friday by appointment only. The academy is also open from 2-8 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday and from 12-6 p.m. on Sunday.
Sport memberships are available for those interested.
