Vouchers still available for Oma’s Heart Christmas gift program
Oma’s Heart Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 organization in Cape Coral., provides Christmas gifts to local financially struggling families. Last year the organization was able to provide Christmas for 500 local families, over 800 children. Oma’s heart opens a toy store for one day; scheduling families to shop every two hours for 12 hours. The store this year will take place at the Grace Community Center in Cape Coral.
The Open House will be Dec. 6 at 7 p.m., and the store will be open Friday, Dec. 7, from 5-9 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 8, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Voucher distribution locations/times are Thursday, Nov. 8 – The Vineyard, Southeast 47th Terrace, Cape Coral, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Wednesday, Nov. 14 – Grace Community Center, Hancock Bridge Parkway, North Fort Myers, 3-6:30 p.m.
