Dorsey to visit the Pine Island, Lakes Regional libraries
Local residents will have an opportunity to meet Florida author Tim Dorsey at two Lee County Library System libraries in August.
Tim Dorsey’s novels are of the mystery-crime fiction genre of which the Denver Rocky Mountain News described as hilarious.
The Pine Island Library will hold the Pine Island Grenade – an Event, with Author Tim Dorsey on Aug. 24 at 2:30 p.m. The author’s discussion is sponsored by the Friends of the Pine Island Library.
The Lakes Regional Library will also hold a discussion with Dorsey on his latest book Pineapple Grenade on Aug. 25 at 1:30 p.m. The author’s discussion is sponsored by the Friends of the Lakes Regional Library.

“Tim Dorsey writes about crime capers in Florida and has published 15 novels in several languages,” says Randy Briggs, Pine Island Library manager. “We always enjoy hearing him speak when he is in the area. He is very entertaining!”

The Pine Island Public Library is located at 10700 Russell Road, N.W.., in Bokeelia, and the Lakes Regional Library is located at 15290 Bass Road in Fort Myers.
