Edison Mall officially opens at 4 a.m. for Black Friday
Eager holiday shoppers will gather at Edison Mall, Fort Myers’ premier retail destination, to take advantage of the mall’s 4 a.m. opening on Fri., Nov. 25, aka “Black Friday.” The first 100 shoppers to visit Guest Services, beginning at 4 a.m., will receive an exclusive “Swag Bag” from Edison Mall. To give early bird shoppers a jumpstart on holiday shopping, 12 retailers, including Macy’s, G by Guess, New York & Company, Disney Store and more, will open their doors at midnight, offering deep discounts for mall shoppers.
“We are excited to officially kick-off our holiday season with a 4 a.m. opening on the busiest shopping day of the year,” said Sarah Berthold, director of marketing and business development at Edison Mall. “With some of our retailers opening at midnight, shoppers are able to take advantage of more great buys, and these retailers will have more time to capitalize on the busy shopping season.”
As part of the 4 a.m. opening, the first 100 shoppers that make their way to Guest Services, located near Books-A-Million, will be rewarded with a signature “Swag Bag,” which includes exclusive offers, discounts and more. To add to the fun, 105.5 The Beat will be broadcasting live from Edison Mall with the radio station’s ever-popular morning show host, Big Kountry Kim, who will give two lucky shoppers the chance to win a $500 Simon American Express Giftcard.
For shoppers looking to get an earlier start, select stores will open their doors to guests as early as midnight. Macy’s, G by Guess, New York & Company, Disney Store, Victoria’s Secret, Express, Bakers, Perfumania, Aeropostale, American Eagle Outfitters, Wet Seal and PacSun are among the retailers that will give shoppers the chance to shop early to take advantage of great discounts. Shoppers will be also able to visit JCPenney, Best Buy Mobile and Starbucks beginning at 3 a.m.
