Beauty & Bliss event Friday to benefit Wishing Well Foundation

NAPLES, Fla. The Wishing Well Foundation will host “Beauty & Bliss,” an evening of glamour and decadent confections Friday, Oct. 28, at the Hilton Naples. The event is from 6 to 9:30 p.m. and showcases the latest procedures offered by the area’s top spas, hair salons and makeup artists while raising money to grant dreams for children with terminal and serious diseases.
“Beauty & Bliss will showcase all the wonderful options to help women and men look and feel their best just in time for the holiday season,” says Vicki Torbush, executive director of Wishing Well. “Plus, it helps us raise money to make dreams come true for our kids.”
Guests will nibble on desserts from Brio Tuscan Grille, Gracie’s Cupcakes, the Hilton and other Southwest Florida confectioners as they participate in chair massages, facials and makeovers. Participants can enjoy the “red-carpet glow” of the DermaQuench machine created by facialist-to-the-stars Kate Somerville, who charges $300 for the same experience at her Beverly Hills salon. U-topia Spa will offer flawless finish facials created by ultrasonic waves that help skin care products penetrate deeper to rebuild natural elasticity.
Beauty & Bliss will also feature a sneak peak at the latest trends in hair color, style and extensions; fall makeup trends; and information about the newest advances in cosmetic fillers, laser hair removal and permanent makeup.
Participating businesses include Color U Salon, Nordstrom, Laser Lounge Spa and U-topia Spa.
Tickets are $40 per person or $70 per twosome. In addition to the complimentary services and demonstrations offered during Beauty & Bliss, admission also includes a cocktail, appetizer and desserts.
The Wishing Well Foundation is a Southwest Florida non-profit organization that grants wishes to terminally ill children in Lee and Collier counties. All money donated to the foundation is spent locally.
The Hilton is located at 5111 Tamiami Trail N., just south of Waterside Shops in Naples.
