Lani Kai invites beachgoers to celebrate the Fourth of July for four days
The Lani Kai, which features multiple bars and restaurants, is having a four-day party this Independence Day.
Key West Cove, the new ground-level lounge near the pool, will offer 10% off all drinks from Thursday the Fourth through Sunday, from opening until 7 p.m. This includes all cocktails, shots and beer.
“We were sure to add even more fun events and happenings throughout the four-day weekend of activities,” said Maria Puidak, the Lani Kai’s entertainment director. “Between our all-day, all-ages beach parties, all the live music throughout our multiple venues, and of course the cold drinks flowing, the Lani Kai will be the place to be July 4th weekend. You can’t miss it!”
On the Fourth of July, the Lani Kai will have live music from 1 p.m. until midnight. DJ TK will host beach games all day, with prizes and giveaways for all ages. Gator Country and Bob FM will be there doing live remote broadcasting throughout the day and will be offering up a VIP table at the Sabal Palm Beach Bar and Grill for that evening. Sabal Palm Beach Bar and Grill is located on the ground floor of the Lani Kai and is one of the resort’s newest additions. The VIP table will offer prime seating for the Fort Myers Beach fireworks show.
On Friday, DJ G-Ride takes over the beach stage and will host beach games for the entire family until 6 p.m. Tyler Kluesner will play acoustic music on the Sun Deck from 6-10 p.m. In the Island View Restaurant, Morgan Marie, a jazz artist will perform from 5:30-8:30 p.m. A 21+ event begins at 8 p.m. until close in Club Ohana with the rock band, Red Hannah.
On Saturday, the reggae band The Jammin G’s will perform on the beach stage from 1-5 p.m. DJ TK will host beach games until 6 p.m. On the Sun Deck, Matt Freed performs from 6-10 p.m. The Color of Sound Motown duo performs from 5-8 p.m. in the Island View. Red Hannah returns to club Ohana at 8 p.m. for a 21+ show.
At 9 p.m. on Saturday, there will be the first-ever bubble party at Key West Cove until 2 a.m. This is a free event for 21-plus. The event will feature DJ Tomkat spinning some of the most popular club music. There will be glowing furniture and lighting and of course, lots of bubbles. Bartenders will be poppin’ bottles with $3 champagne flutes all night and a reverse happy hour from 9-11 p.m.
On Sunday, the Jammin G’s take over the beach stage again with chill reggae. DJ G-Ride will be hosting beach games. On the Sun Deck, David Rojas will perform from 6-10 p.m. and DJ TK will be spinning in Club Ohana at 8 P.M. for a 21+ show.
