SFWMD invites public to view proposed Caloosahatchee Minimum Flow reevauluation
The South Florida Water Management District invites you to a half-day public workshop for presentation of the proposed draft rule for the Caloosahatchee Minimum Flow and Minimum Water Level (MFL), Chapter 40E-8.221, Florida Administrative Code. The workshop will also include discussion of the MFL reevaluation and criteria development processes, peer review findings, and the recovery strategy for the Caloosahatchee River Estuary.
The workshop will be held Thursday, Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. at the South Florida Water Management District, Fort Myers Service Center, 1st Floor Conference Room, 2301 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers,
The draft rule, workshop agenda and other relevant documents are available at sfwmd.gov/our-work/mfl under Caloosahatchee MFL Re-evaluation, and on the District Web Board in the MFL Reevaluation for the Caloosahatchee River Estuary forum.
