Fort Myers Beach Art Association, Garden Club partner for romantic fundraising evening
The Estero Island Garden Club and the Fort Myers Beach Art Association and Gallery will co-host a Valentine’s Eve fundraiser on Tuesday, Feb. 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Gallery, 3030 Shell Mound Blvd, Fort Myers Beach. The evening includes wine, appetizers, desserts and music by the Pearl Street Band for $25 a ticket. There will also be a raffle. Sponsors to date include: All Native Garden Center; Beach Pottery; Castaways; Comfort by Design; Island Hair; the Islander; Ivy topiary; Publix; Rachel Nails; Truly Scrumptious; and assorted gift baskets.
The two organizations invite the community to enjoy the festive gala, peruse the art work, and perhaps find that special Valentine’s gift item.
It’s the first year for this partnered event; both organizations will benefit from the proceeds.
“They (The Art Association) have such a beautiful space there, and doing it around Valentine’s will make it festive,” said Cindy Richardson of the Garden Club. “We’re excited to see how it goes.”
