Contest opens for 60th annual Fort Myers Beach Shrimp Festival design

2 min read

The Fort Myers Bach Lions Club has opened a community contest for the official design of the “60th Annual Fort Myers Beach Lions Club Shrimp Festival.” This year’s festival will take place on Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11 on Fort Myers Beach. This design contest is an opportunity for locals to show off their talents and passion for the local community and this beloved event.

The contest is open to all members of the community. The chosen design will be the face of the festival and used as the official design for this year’s t-shirts, posters, website, and advertisements for the event. The design must include Gulf shrimp, the official title of the festival (60th Annual Fort Myers Beach Lions Club Shrimp Festival), the festival dates and the Lions Club logo.

The submissions are due Sunday, Oct. 15 in digital format. The winning design will be announced the first week of November via Facebook. Multiple submissions per designer are permitted. All submissions become the property of the Fort Myers Beach Lions Club. For inspiration and ideas, designs from years past can be found on the Fort Myers Beach Lions Club Shrimp Festival website at BeachShrimpFestival.com.

For more information, or to submit your design, contact Lion Shelby Peters via email at info@fmblions.com with a subject line of ‘Shrimp Festival Design’ or by phone Monday-Friday at 472-3400.
