Sunday, May 7: 22nd Annual Taste of the Beach, noon to 4 p.m. Old San Carlos. Entry $5 for adults. Food tickets $1 each. For information call 454-7500.
Saturday, May 13: 12th Annual Turtle Trot 5K, 8 a.m., Lovers Key State Park, 8700 Estero Boulevard. Registration is $35 for adults, $25 for kids or $40 day-of for all entries.
