Kickin’ up sand

The Cypress Lakes High School athletic department hosted a kid’s Shrimp Festival fun run Saturday, March 4.
The 1-mile fun run was open to students in kindergarten through fifth grade, and awards were given to the first, second and third places in each age and for boys and girls.
The race took place at the Gulfview Avenue beach access, and all participating children got a free race t-shirt. More than 90 kids participated in the event.
