Friends of the Library hold March book sale
Attention book worms: now is the time to stock up on your reading list.
The Friends of the Fort Myers Beach Library will hold its March book sale Saturday, March 25 from 9 a.m. To 12:30 p.m.
“There will probably be 40 tables of books,” said Library Director, Leroy Hommerding.
Books will be sorted into categories, and there will be something for any age range and interest, from travel and history to fiction and health, as well as childrens and large print books.
“Last month we had a table of puzzles, too, and got a really good response,” he said.
Hommerding said a majority of the books are donated, although some are library books being taken off the shelves to make room for new titles.
Hardcovers are $2 and paperbacks are $1. The sale will include some DVDs and albums, too.
“We do get a lot of people,” Hommerding said.
Also returning this month is a pianist, so shoppers can enjoy live music while they browse.
The sale will run from 9:30 to noon in the library’s parking garage.
