Arrest made in Beach shooting

A man deputies say was involved in an early morning shooting in the area of the Pinnacle Apartments is in custody.

Deputies arrested Morgan Brett Reilly, 19, after locating him near the Mantanzas Bridge, a release from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office states.

“This was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the community,” officials said.

The bridge was closed folowing the 4 a.m. incident while police conducted the search.
