Boil Water notice in effect for Times Square area

There will be a boil water notice following a water line repair in the Times Square area on Fort Myers Beach.

Water in the Times Square area of Fort Myers Beach was shut off at roughly 11 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, until approximately 7 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, to perform needed repairs to a fire water line.

Please be advised, a BOIL WATER NOTICE will be in effect for 48 Hours following the repairs. The notice will run until 7 a.m. Friday, March 28.

It is advised that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
