New Ford’s Garage hosts Celebrity Bartender Night for children’s hospital

Lee Memorial Health System Foundation announced it will be the recipient of funds from a large community event on Tuesday, Dec. 3. The event is set for 6 to 9 p.m. at the new Ford’s Garage restaurant located within Miromar Outlets, 10801 Corkscrew Road, Estero. This holiday giving event is the perfect opportunity for the community to come out to support children in Southwest Florida who are battling cancer and blood disorders.
Admission into the event is complimentary and there will be many food and drink specials throughout the evening. A portion of the select food and drink menu and 100 percent of proceeds from the evening’s specialty drink the “Caresmopolitan” as well as the silent auction will benefit Barbra’s Friends — Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida’s Cancer Fund. Guests will also be treated to great music, a 50/50 drawing and chance to meet some of their favorite Clear Channel radio personalities including Todd Nixon, Eric the Funky 1, Flyin’ Brian, Fab 1st Lady Niki, Big “D” and Amy Lynn.
The event is a precursor to the Jan. 17th “Cat Country 107.1FM Helping Kids with Cancer Radiothon”– a long-time partnership between Clear Channel and Golisano Children’s Hospital.
The Dec. 3 event is one of many Lee Memorial Health System Foundation efforts to raise awareness of patients at Golisano Children’s Hospital this holiday season.
