Beach resident arrested for stabbing incident

Beach resident William Dalbora, age 42, has been charged with aggravated battery in connection to a possible stabbing at the corner of Estero Boulevard and Mango Street on Estero Island Friday evening.
According to a Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, Dalbora, of 132 Tropical Shores Way, was booked into the Lee County Jail on Saturday where he remained Monday afternoon on $50,000 bond.
A trial date has been set for Oct. 14.
The victim was transported to HealthPark Hospital for medical treatment and is listed as in critical condition due to what appeared to be a stab wound to the left side of his neck and two stab wounds to his left temple, according to the police report.
His name has not been released pending further investigation.
The police report also stated that Dalbora stayed on scene after the incident and made the 9-11 call.
