The shelter is open for adoptions from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5600 Banner Drive, Fort Myers, next to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, off Six Mile Cypress Pkwy.
All adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, rabies vaccination & county license if 3 months or older, flea treatment, worming, heartworm test for dogs 6 months & over, feline aids & leukemia test for cats, training DVD, and 10 day health guarantee.
The adoption package is valued at $500.
This week’s pets both came from homes overcrowded with objects and other pets.
Consequently, they need new homes where they can receive proper care and most of all love!

Comments: Pebbles came to the shelter pregnant and I arrived with a shattered rear leg which had to be amputated. We were sent to the same foster home and it was the best thing that ever happened. Pebbles took one look at me and decided she would be my best friend. Both of us have quiet personalities and love to be groomed. We’re talkative, come when called, and even eat out of the same bowl. We recovered together and would like to stay together forever. Please come meet us to see if we could be the perfect pets for you.
