Special.

Pet Bio

Name: Lanny

  • #: 567182

Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix

Sex: Spayed Female

Age: 5 Years Old

  • Color: Chocolate
  • Comments: If I could speak I would tell you I want to go home. When I first arrived here I just whined and my eyes said something was wrong. I just wondered why a good dog could be left at the shelter. It all made sense later when the staff found my owner and he didn’t come in to get me. I was just sad. I’m really an awesome dog! I love the water, like to play ball, walk nicely on a leash, know commands, and I’m super intelligent. ?Adoption Fee: $10 (regularly $75) during Animal Services Freedom Friends Adoption Promo

The shelter is open for adoptions from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5600 Banner Drive, Fort Myers, next to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, off Six Mile Cypress Pkwy.

All adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, rabies vaccination & county license if 3 months or older, flea treatment, worming, heartworm test for dogs 6 months & over, feline aids & leukemia test for cats, training DVD, and 10 day health guarantee.

The adoption package is valued at $500.

This week’s pets both came from homes overcrowded with objects and other pets.

Consequently, they need new homes where they can receive proper care and most of all love!

Pet Bio

Name: Chopper

ID #: 567295

Breed: Stafforshire/Hound Mix

Sex: Spayed Female

Age: 5 Months Old

Color: Chocolate

Comments: My owners packed up the car one day and just drove away. I ran after the car but they never stopped or looked back. I don’t understand because I am bright and lively and I do love people especially when they play with me. I would make a great companion for someone who has time and energy to love me and train me.

Adoption Fee: $45 (regularly $95) during Animal Services Freedom Friends Adoption Promo

Pet Bio

Name: Tammi & Pebbles

ID #: 530167 (Tammi) 567231 (Pebbles)

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Sex: Females

Age: Both 1 Year Old

Color: Orange tabby (Tammi), white with black markings on head and tail (Pebbles)

Comments: Pebbles came to the shelter pregnant and I arrived with a shattered rear leg which had to be amputated. We were sent to the same foster home and it was the best thing that ever happened. Pebbles took one look at me and decided she would be my best friend. Both of us have quiet personalities and love to be groomed. We’re talkative, come when called, and even eat out of the same bowl. We recovered together and would like to stay together forever. Please come meet us to see if we could be the perfect pets for you.

Adoption Fee: $10 for both (regularly $50) during Animal Services Freedom Friends Adoption Promo
