Santini plaza offers Christmas Celebration and Gift Bazaar Saturday

Santini Marina Plaza presents A Community Christmas Celebration and Gift Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be 40-plus Arts and Crafts vendors offering Christmas gift wrapping at their booths, performing children’s groups and area choirs singing traditional Christmas music.

The performers involve The LeHigh Children’s Choir directed by Candace Sundby at 10:30 a.m.; The Symphonic Chorale of SW Florida conducted by Dr. Tim McDonald at 11:30 a.m.; Fort Myers Beach Elementary School Chorus directed by Carolyn Greiner at 12:30 p.m.; and The Three Oaks Middle School Choir directed by Jim Knecht at 1:30 p.m.

Santini Marina Plaza restaurants will be vending delicious tapas-style tropical and traditional fare as well as scrumptious holiday desserts. Skye’s restaurant will be serving pico de gallo, grouper fajitas, shrimp & chorizo and margaritas. Francesco’s will have mini calzones, a hot sausage sandwich and garlic knots, The Fish House will offer coconut shrimp and jalapeno poppers, Sand Bar and Grille will present tropical shrimp skewers and Italian sausage with peppers, Truly Scrumptious will offer a sampling from their catering menu plus all kinds of cookies, cinnamon rolls, brownies, pies, cheese cake, carrot cake, banana cakes and gingerbread houses (wrapped).

Dec. 1st is the official grand opening of the Santini Fresh Market for the season vending the freshest of Florida’s fruits and vegetables. Bob’s Fresh Seafood To Go returns to Santini with fresh from the Gulf offerings. Heather will be blending fresh fruit smoothies and Uncle Dan’s Kettle Korn will be popping the best kettle korn in Florida.

Admission to the Street Market and Gift Bazaar is a new, unwrapped teddy bear benefiting the pediatric division of Lee Memorial HealthPark Hospital. All donated teddy bears will be on the Teddy Bear Christmas Tree in the lobby of HealthPark for distribution to the hospitalized children over the Christmas Holidays.
