Zoomers to host Beach school FUNdraiser
A recently opened family fun park will be hosting a benefit for the Beach school on Estero Island in six days.
On Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., everyone is invited to attend a Beach Elementary FUNdraiser at Zoomers Amusement Park at 17455 Summerlin Rd.. The cost is only $10 per person with $2 from every card sold benefitting Beach Elementary Schoool.
There are ties involved with both entities.
Zoomers owners Michael and Evie Barnes’ twin daughters went to the Beach school, and Evie used to be the president for the Parent Teacher Organization. Director of Sales and Events Will Sohner currently has three children attending the school.
“We want to return the favor to the Barnes’ for all the work they have done here,” said Beach Elementary Principal Larry Wood.
The FUNdraiser will help raise money for the Beach school’s general fund.
The event will feature three hours of unlimited go-karts, roller coaster rides, midway rides, laser tag, bumper boats, mini bowling, mini golf and video games.
Anyone interested in supporting Beach Elementary is asked to show up during the listed times and join school classmates, family and friends at Zoomers Amusement Park.
