Lynn Hall Park has partial parking lot closure

1 min read

Fort Myers Beach, FL, Sept. 14, 2012 – A popular Lee County Parks & Recreation beach park will remain open during the weekend, despite a continuing resurfacing project that has reduced parking.

About half of the 120 paid parking spaces at Lynn Hall Park Beach, 950 Estero Blvd., Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931 are temporarily closed for resurfacing, restriping and other lot work. The upgrades are expected to be completed early next week.

Parking alternatives include the Town of Fort Myers Beach’s metered parking spaces, which are limited to two-hour visits. Long-term parking is available for a fee at the lot under the Matanzas Pass Bridge just north of Lynn Hall Park at the end of Old San Carlos Boulevard. Paid parking also can be found on beach access streets.

Free parking is available for those willing to walk. The Main Street Parking lot on the north side of the Skyway Bridge also has a free trolley.

For beach goers who plan to visit Lynn Hall Park after the weekend, more improvements will be happening. Bathrooms will be temporarily closed for deck upgrades, but portable toilets will be available and the rinse-off showers will remain open.
