Mound House “Friends” to hold benefit luncheon
The Friends of the Mound House will hold a benefit luncheon at DiamondHead Resort on Dec. 8, beginning at noon. All proceeds will benefit the Mound House.
The luncheon includes a complementary glass of wine and cash bar, entre choice of flounder with lobster sauce or chicken salad croissant with fruit, dessert, coffee or tea and gratuity. Tickets are on sale for $35. Checks and cash only.
The luncheon will also feature a fashion show involving the five members of the Fort Myers Beach Town Council. Models Larry Kiker, Bob Raymond, Jo List, Alan Mandel and Joe Kosinksi are all aboard for the fundraiser.
Fashions will be provided by Leani’s Beach and Sportswear, Local Color and Palmetto’s Apparel. A silent and live auction will also be part of the luncheon. Attendeeswill be able to bid on fantastic and fun items.
The Friends of the Mound House is a 501c3 non-profit organization that raises money to help the sustainability of the Town-owned property at the end of Connecticut Street, so all donations are tax deductible.
