Santini Plaza to hold Howl’owen event
Santini Marina Plaza will host a parade for all lovable furry friends to benefit a local animal organization.
Pawsitively Amazing Howl’oween Street Fair Extravaganza and Astounding Pet Parade will be held at the 7205 Estero Blvd. plaza on Saturday, Oct. 22. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and parade is at 10 a.m.
Admission for the event is one unopened non-perishable food to benefit the Lee County Animal Services.
Ribbons will be awarded for Best Costumed Pet, Best Costumed Owner and Pet, Best Decorated Wagon and Pet and Best Decorated Golf Cart with Costumed Owner and Pet.
The Extravaganza will feature an arts & craft street fair, music by Habitat for Humanity and entertainment by the Bayshore Cloggers.

“The Lee County Board of Elections will be handling the voting for the various categories. Should be a fun event – it’s a Howl’oween Treat and a chance for pups and their parents to be “puttin on the dog,” said Bonnie Roberts of Bonnie Roberts Events.
