LCSO reports arm robbery at Cracker Barrel
On Sept. 25, 2011, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a Robbery with a Firearm at the Cracker Barrel restaurant at 4260 Boatways Road in Fort Myers.
A male subject entered the business with a sack type white mask covering his face, wearing a long sleeve shirt with camouflage overalls. The suspect was carrying a bag and a long rifle style gun. He demanded the money from the register. The victim was not able to open the register. The suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction, without any money.
A perimeter was established and a K-9 track was conducted with negative results.
Due to the nature of the crime, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit responded and assumed the investigation.
