New parent assistance center ready to help
Lee County Public Schools has created a Parent Assistance Center to provide parents and the community with information and support as they work with schools to meet their child’s learning needs. The goal is to help families understand the important role they play as part of the educational team.
“Providing the families and the community with information and assistance will support student learning and build strong families and our community,” said Dr. Ruthie Lohmeyer, the administrator overseeing the center.
Supporting the partnership between school, home and the community enables our students to reach his/her own personal potential. The Center’s mission is to provide information and quick references to navigate the District in a seamless and easy fashion as they guide their children toward success.
You can visit the Parent Assistance Center online it’s part of the District’s Website (www.studentservices.leeschools.net/PAC/welcome.htm).
Any parents interested or who may be in need of help are encouraged to stop by the Parent Assistance Center, located in the Lee County Public Education Center, 2855 Colonial Boulevard Fort Myers. If they cannot visit in person, parents can call 337-8574 for more information.
