LCSO reports two men shot in Reserve Cigar Bar parking lot
On Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 3:41 a.m., the Lee County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a gunshot victim at Lee Memorial Hospital. Deputies arrived on scene and were told a second gunshot victim had arrived at the hospital. A preliminary investigation revealed both victims had been brought to the hospital following an incident at the Reserve Cigar Bar, 10950 South Cleveland Avenue, Fort Myers. Witnesses stated that as they were leaving the bar, they heard a commotion in the parking lot, then multiple gunshots. Both victims were shot during this time. It appears they were caught in some crossfire. Deputies responded to the parking lot of the Reserve Cigar Bar and located multiple spent shell casings on the ground.
A male juvenile victim was admitted for non-life threatening gunshot wounds and a male adult victim was treated and released. Their names are being withheld at this time.
The suspect is described as a male wearing all black. His face was covered with a bandana.
This appears to be an isolated incident.
