Chamber to hold annual Tapa Hop in September

Join us Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011 for our Greater Fort Myers Beach Area Chamber Annual Fall Tapa Hop. The event starts at Parrot Key for delicious Tapas. It ends at Big Game for Yummy Dessert. Enjoy the fabulous restaurants in between. Ride the bus with your friends and play poker run. Win great prizes with a Grand Prize Giveaway at the end of the ride. Vote for your favorite restaurant.??

Tapa Hop 2011 will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 9:30 p.m. Additional restaurant locations will be provided soon.

Get your tickets before Sept. 19, for $30 at the FMB Chamber office. You can register and purchase tickets with an online special at www.secure.chambermaster.com/directory/jsp/events and receive a $5 discount.

What Is a Tapa Hop?

With the purchase of an event ticket you will board one of our Beach Trolleys visiting 6 participating Chamber member restaurants each serving 3 of their specialty “goodies” to munch on and offering a cash bar. With the nominal additional purchase of $1 per Poker Score Card (no limit – while they last) you will draw a Playing Card at each of the 6 locations. The winner will be determined at the final restaurant location (Big Game Bar & Grill) with the best 5-card hand and win a cash split.

Where is the Tapa Hop?

The check in will begin at the Parrot Key Caribbean Grill. Please park in the Big Game Bar & Grill parking lot next door, which will be our final returning location.

When is the Tapa Hop?

Tuesday, Sept. 20th, 2011. Check-In begins 5 p.m. at the Parrot Key Caribbean Grill. The first Beach Trolley will depart promptly at 5:30 p.m. All Trolleys should be returning to the Big Game Bar & Grill by 9 pm for the final prize drawings and awarding the Best Poker Hand.
