Beach Baptist news of the week

2 min read

The evening service this past Sunday was led by our youth group. We had 17 youth presented with True Love Waits rings. These kids have completed a study course and pledged to keep themselves sexually pure until marriage. Each one has an adult mentor available for guidance.

On Saturday, Aug, 6, the Beach school is having an open house from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Beach Baptist is helping to provide school supplies for the students. It only takes about $5 per student for the supplies we are getting. Let us know if you would like to help.

Our after-school program starts on Aug, 8, and runs from 2:15 to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Thank you to all who came through the car wash recently. The youth are selling advance tickets for their next car wash, which will be on Aug. 13. Tickets will be available at the event. Come on out and get your car washed!

The “Choice Market” is open on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for those who need help with food. We just completed a successful inspection by the USDA. We appreciate the strong help we have received from the good people at Harry Chapin Food Bank and the USDA.

Please join us for services on Sunday, starting at 9 a.m. for breakfast, 9:30 for Bible Study and 10:30 for Worship Service. On Wednesday, there is a dinner at 5:30 p.m., followed by Bible Study for all ages.

We hope to see you this week.
