Two arrested in robbery of Love Boat Ice Cream
The two suspects have been identified and are in custody at this time facing charges of robbery with a firearm. They are identified as Seth Foster, age 18 (d-o-b 3-30-93) of Fort Myers and Christopher Foster, age 24 (d-o-b 5-14-87) of Cape Coral.

On Friday, July 15, 2011, at 10:30 p.m. the Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a call about an armed robbery. The incident occurred at the business of Love Boat Ice Cream, 16229 San Carlos Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida. Deputies responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, deputies confirmed two masked, white male subjects had entered the business and struck one of the employees with a firearm. He was not seriously injured. The victim was forced to open a safe and hand over the contents, as well as his own money. Several patrons were in the business at the time of the robbery. No one else was injured. The suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Additional units arrived to the area including the Sheriff’s Office helicopter and K-9’s. A track of the suspects led behind Osaka Japanese Steakhouse where a suspicious person call was received several minutes after the robbery call describing similarly dressed and armed individuals. The two were not located.
Due to the nature of the incident, detectives with the Robbery Unit of the Sheriff’s Office responded to continue the investigation. Video surveillance was retrieved and the suspects were seen wearing long-sleeved blue shirts and long baggy shorts. One had white athletic shoes and the other black.
