Five charged with trespassing at Beach resort
Five Cape Coral young adults decided to take a swim early last Tuesday at a Fort Myers Beach resort.
The problem is, they were at a residence with signs posted stating it was a private residence and they were not invited or paying guests, according to Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrest reports.
The five: Cassandra Adelita Calzadias, 18, 4341 SW 7th Place; Justin Alexander Talarico, 19, 825 SW 51st Terrace; Ginger Kellum Biscoe, 19, 1824 NE 3rd Street; Demi Victoria Pearson, 19, 3730 SW 4th Lane; and Calvin Angel Colon, 20, 1823 NE 33rd Street, were all charged with trespassing.
Deputies were called about 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, to Surf Song Resort, 2088 Estero Blvd., and was told by a man, Nicholas Dundee who lives there, that a group of people were ordered to leave the private pool but refused.
He told them again to leave, but they cursed at him and refused again.
As a deputy arrived, he saw seven people, six of whom fled: four men and a woman. It was not clear if Dundee, who was ordering the people to leave a third time, was the seventh person.
The deputy gave chase and saw two of the men and a woman trying to hide behind mangroves near Diamondhead Resort, according to the reports.
He ordered them out from their hiding spot and they complied.
Meantime another deputy found two of the females at the resort.
Dundee told deputies the suspects were in the pool, “creating a lot of noise which caused him to wake from a sound sleep,” according to the reports.
The five were arrested and Calzadias, Pearson and Biscoe “were transported to the jail as disorderly,” the deputy wrote.
