• The shelter is open for adoptions from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5600 Banner Drive, Fort Myers, next to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, off Six Mile Cypress Pkwy.
• All adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, rabies vaccination and county license if 3 months or older, flea treatment, worming, heartworm test for dogs 6 months and over, feline aids and leukemia test for cats, training DVD, 1- day health guarantee, and a bag of Science Diet pet food.
• The adoption package is valued at $500.

Comments: I was found as an abandoned puppy. I’ve spent more than half my life here at the shelter. In fact, I’m one of the staff’s favorite dogs! I like everyone here too but I sure wish I had a real home of my own. I’ve learned some basic commands and I love to run and play. Well, I love to run for about 5 minutes and then I’m ready to settle down and do whatever you’d like to do.

The veterinarian treated my condition and I went to a great foster home where they gave me lots of love and care and my fur grew back. In my foster home I got to play with their dogs and cat and snuggle a lot (my favorite thing). I sleep through the night and I’m learning potty training skills.
