A 22 year old Fort Myers woman has been added to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers 10 Most Wanted list, following the brutal robbery, carjacking and beating of a Fort Myers man two weeks ago.

Sandy Forrester, DOB 5/31/89, is being sought for her role in the assault, which occurred on May 28th in Pine Manor. According to detectives, Forrester was accompanied by two unknown black males, who were both armed with semi-automatic handguns. The victim was in his car, at a stop sign when

Forrester and the two other men approached him, and forced him out of the car at gunpoint. Forrester brought the victim into a nearby apartment, where the victim was robbed, beaten and had his hands and mouth duct-taped.

When the trio attempted to put the victim into a car to bring him to an unknown location, the victim managed to escape and ran to a nearby house for help. Forrester, and the two men, fled the scene – possibly in a blue 1993 Buick four-door car.

Ironically, the robbery occurred just over 24 hours after Forrester had been released from jail for grand theft auto and drug possession the night prior, on May 27th. Forrester told deputies that she acquired the car for $25 from an unknown person in the Pine Manor area. The car, however, had been previously reported as stolen.

Forrester was born and raised in Fort Myers, and has a felony criminal record that dates back to her teenage years, when she was arrested at age 16 for grand theft auto and burglary. She has two tattoos, of a spider web on her left leg and a star on her right hip.

She may also be using the alias of Sandy Wood.

Forrester replaces Todd Chrisp, Jr., on the Crime Stoppers 10 Most Wanted list. Chrisp was arrested last week in South Carolina and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is currently awaiting extradition back to Lee County.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Sandy Forrester is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
