Vehicle burglar caught by cellular phone camera

Crime Stoppers is looking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who was trying to break into vehicles at the Bell Tower Shops on the evening of May 10, 2011. An alert patron was able to capture images of the subject in the parking lot.
Suspect is described as a white male with brown hair who appeared to be attempting to make entry into vehicles.
The man was seen leaving the area in an white, older-model Honda Accord with the partial tag of 919LP.
Detectives believe this might be the same individual that broke into a vehicle on May 4, at the Gulf Coast Town Center and used or attempted to use the victim’s credit card at a few different locations in Lee County.
Anyone with information on the identity of the man in the attached photos is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
