Local Florist changes ownership and name

2 min read

Changing owners in mid-January, Lorrie Wolf Florist has now become known as Wolf Florist, owned by Gino DeSanctis and his wife, Michele, who moved up from the Keys about five years ago.

“We completely gutted the unit, gave it new paint, new shelving, new showroom displays,” said DeSanctis.

After about one month of renovations, Wolf Florist officially opened for business, offering assortments of floral displays for all celebrations and momentous occasions.

“We offer anything from basic, everyday fragrant florals up to weddings and other very special events,” Gino said. “And, don’t forget, Mother’s Day and Easter is right around the corner.”

Wolf Florist wires arrangements all over the world. So, if your floral recipient isn’t in town, no worries.

“We do lots of tropical pieces, Birds of Paradise and so forth, and supply fruit baskets as well,” Gino said. “Some of the larger hotels around town order tropical arrangements on a regular basis.”

Wolf Florist is at 2801 Unit F, Estero Blvd. Hours are Monday to Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed Sunday.

Specials are offered weekly, and the team recently joined the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce, so they plan to host special events in the future.

“Come on over and give us a try. We’ll do a great job for you, being sure to uphold the standards of Lorrie Wolf, and making it one step better,” Gino said. “We’re here to serve you, and so happy to be a part of the Fort Myers Beach community.”
