Kiwanis and restaurants raise money for Back-to-School shoes and shots
Sixty-four Lee County restaurants joined the newest Kiwanis club in the area, Fort Myers Gateway to the Islands in their third annual “Delicious Dining Discounts” fundraiser. Bargain priced at $20 each, book proceeds go toward the club’s newest service project “Back-to-School Shoes and Shots.”
The buy one, get one BOGO books are valid NOW through Nov. 15, and may be ordered on-line by clicking on the “Dining” icon at the club’s website www.KiwanisGTTI.com, which also includes the city locations listing of all the 64 restaurants. Books may be viewed and purchased at several locations throughout the county. Further information may be obtained by calling 415-3100 or email at KiwanisGTTI.Dining@gmail.com.
Local restaurants in the “Delicious Dining Discounts” book include Anthony’s on the Gulf, Big Game Bar & Grill, Caribbean Pearl, Charley’s Boat House Grill, Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grill, Junkanoo, Lani Kai, Nauti Turtle, Nervous Nellie’s, Parrot Key, Perkins, Skye’s, South Beach Grille and Beached Whale. Enjoy dining out at great prices: what a great way to serve and support our youth of today for a better tomorrow!
The Kiwanis will be at the Chamber’s Taste of the Beach on May 15, both as volunteers and vendor to promote dining books.
