Final days to purchase discounted Red Sox merchandise
The Boston Red Sox Team Store located at City of Palms Park will close for the season this Friday, April 29.
Store hours for the store’s final days are Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. According to store manager Doreen Arsenault, selected merchandise including clothing, memorabilia and novelties has been discounted up to 60 percent.
“We have slashed prices even further for our final week,” Arsenault said. “We are really pushing to clear as much of this season’s merchandise as possible in anticipation of our move to the new ballpark next spring.”
The Red Sox Team Store is located at City of Palms Park, 2201 Edison Ave. in Fort Myers. The store phone number is 226-4732.
In 2012, the Red Sox will move to their new Spring Training facility. The complex will provide state-of-the-art training facilities positioned on a single site and are intended to be used year-round. It will include JetBlue Park, the main ballpark with a total capacity of approximately 11,000 fans (including standing room and berm), six practice fields and other adjoining facilities that will house both the Major and Minor League operations and a rehabilitation center.
The park and adjoining Player Development Complex are located at 11581 Daniels Pkwy. in Fort Myers. The complex is approximately two miles east of Interstate 75 and approximately six miles from Southwest Florida International Airport.
Lee County has been the Spring Training home of the Red Sox since 1993.
