Tarpon club announces free fishing clinic
Fort Myers Beach Tarpon Hunters Club -known as the oldest Tarpon fishing club in the World- has announced a free Tarpon Fishing Clinic at Bonita Bill’s Waterfront Caf on Wednesday, March 2, at 7 p.m.

Learn how to fish for the spectacular “Silver Kings.” Conventional, light and Fly Tackle will all be covered plus locations, techniques, rigs and baiting techniques.
The world’s oldest tarpon fishing club, established in 1962, is a catch and release only club, which fishes local Lee County waters, Gulf, Back Bays and rivers.
Meetings are held monthly on the first Wednesday. Membership is $40 per year for single persons and $50 per year for family memberships. It includes an annual picnic and banquet plus newsletters, fishing reports and VHF communications.
