The shelter is open for adoptions from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5600 Banner Drive, Fort Myers, next to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, off Six Mile Cypress Pkwy.
All adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, rabies vaccination and county license if 3 months or older, flea treatment, worming, heartworm test for dogs 6 months and over, feline aids & leukemia test for cats, training DVD, 10-day health guarantee, and a bag of Science Diet pet food.
The adoption package is valued at $500.

Comments: I arrived at the shelter as a stray puppy. My history is a mystery, but I’m sure glad someone called Animal Services to pick me up. I was very hungry and skinny. They sent me to live with a wonderful lady who was my foster mom until I got better. I feel great now; I just need a forever home. Even though I was scared, I’m a friendly puppy and ready to learn anything you want to teach me.
