Garage sale set to help Beach homeless pets
On March 19, organizers for homeless pets on Fort Myers Beach will be holding a community garage sale in the Laguna Shores subdivision (located on the south end of the Island).
Coldwell Banker Realtor Isabelle Wells and Lahaina Realty Realtor Pam Schwartz are the co-founders of “Find a Home, Give a Home” organization whose mission can be viewed on www.FindaHomeGiveaHome.com. The ladies started a rescue for dogs and cats on Fort Myers Beach this year, and are hoping to collect and sell items to visitors to benefit these animals.
“We are asking the public for support and if you would like to participate, we would appreciate your help. You could collect items around your house that you would be willing to donate. All proceeds will go for a great cause,” said Isabelle Wells.
Garage sale items can be dropped off anytime in a box at 7875 Buccaneer Drive (Isabelle’s house) on the side of the garage, or Pam’s house at 7901 Buccaneer Drive (also on the side). The items can be dropped off at Coldwell Banker at 7205 Estero Blvd. or at Lahaina Realty at 6035 Estero Blvd. as well.
“We will also do a bake sale, so you can participate that way as well. You could bake and we would sell,” said Isabelle. “This is for a wonderful cause and we really appreciate your support.”
